Booking & Registration

for those referred by Silas Rossi at Alpine Logic

I first crossed paths with Silas Rossi over a decade ago at the usual Northeastern climbing haunts. Our first climbs together were as part of an AMGA Ice Instructor Course in 2015, where Silas was a course instructor and I was a student. Initially I sought Silas’ guidance as a mentor, and over time, we also grew closer as colleagues, peer, and friends. Since then we have traveled into the mountains together up windy Patagonian peaks and frigid Canadian waterfalls, but we still enjoy trail runs, dog walks, and 40+ pitch rock climbing sessions close to home.

The feedback Silas and I give one another is just one part of what helps us excel at offering our guests incredible experiences in the mountains. Many members of the climbing community have been guided by one or both of us at some point in their climbing journey. Join us!

Step 3 of 3

Sign Release Forms

Once you finish the registration form above,

  • Review the release forms below. It's essential for you to understand that climbing is inherently risky. We must maintain an explicit and honest dialogue going forward if we are to manage and mitigate these risks together. Elimination of risk is impossible; if you are uncomfortable, speak up! Fill and sign the document electronically.

  • You’ll receive an email from Adobe Sign containing a link reading “Confirm my email address”. Click on the link; you’ll receive a copy of your signed agreements.

Get ready for a great day on the cliffs! It will be here in no time.

For outdoor sessions: if you have a climbing practice already, you are encouraged to bring your typical climbing kit. I can provide any technical equipment needed. You are responsible for your own transportation to/from the trailhead, and bringing your own clothing, personal snacks/meals and water, and a backpack to share in carrying equipment.

Your confirmation email contains our meeting location. There, we'll discuss your goals then head to the cliffs to work towards them. I can provide all the technical equipment needed though you are encouraged to bring your typical climbing kit.

Here's a checklist of items to bring with you:

  • Personal climbing equipment (shoes, harness, helmet, chalk bag)

  • Personal snacks and water

  • Extra clothing (imagine if the day became 20degF colder)

  • Backpack to carry equipment

  • Hygiene items such as wet wipes, tissues, biodegradable soap and extra water

  • Gallon size sealable plastic bag(s) for packing out trash

Please direct your questions or concerns to dustin@advancedrockcraft.com, or (845)663-7391.

I’m looking forward to our time together,

Dustin Portzline
